LIVE GRADES WITH HARRISON COUNTY, WV SCHOOLS:
During the recent Statewide Technology Conference held in Charleston, Citynet showcased our new Content Management System featuring a new Live Grade program. Drew Pomeroy, Senior VP of Citynet said "This program will allow teachers to communicate online with parents of their students and provide up-to-the-minute information on test scores, homework assignments, and the student’s grades. We are working with a local school district now to test the system and we’ll be ready to roll this out to other county school systems in the very near future. From what we have heard from our trial teachers – this is the easiest and most thorough program available and exceeds the expectations of other similar products." We will have more information on Live Grades in coming editions.
BUSINESS DIGITAL PHONE
"Our business class service in Digital Phone is really taking off! We’ve been able to sign quite a number of new Channel Partners (resellers) as well as individual businesses" said Ben Randolph, Director, VoIP Channel Partner Program.
Citynet Digital Phone is feature rich and allows everyone to finally have total control over your phone system without calling "the phone company" and begging for help. Our online Account Manager feature allows customers the flexibility that they’ve been waiting for. You decide how, when, and even where your business phone rings. No longer do you miss important calls! Our automated attendant feature is very easy to use and can be set up to answer calls directly or as an after hours only feature.
Most importantly, Citynet Business Digital Phone works with your existing equipment – reducing your costs right from the beginning. If you want new equipment – Citynet can provide that as well, through our new Managed Services Division.

NETWORK MANAGED SERVICES: Your business. Uninterrupted!
You don’t have to be a multinational corporation for your business to depend on technology. Even in small and medium-sized companies, a downed network can mean major costs in repairs and lost productivity.
The solution is to keep your network from getting to the point of failure in the first place. The solution is what we call NetPulse.
Through proactive, round-the-clock network monitoring and management, Citynet can identify and address technical issues before they become work-stopping problems. And we do it for a remarkably affordable price!
The benefits go beyond just avoiding downtime: with NetPulse we can help you anticipate your future technology needs—and be ready to meet them. Most importantly, we’re a local company, not some faraway offshore help desk. When you need us onsite, we will be there — to install, configure, resolve and advise.
Make sure your business operates without interruption. Call us today for information about NetPulse or to qualify for a free trial if you are an existing Citynet Customer.
Citynet’s new Managed Services Division can handle all your business communications and network needs. Our highly skilled technicians can monitor your in-house network and keep it running at top efficiency – and identify problems often well before they occur!
If network security is an important issue for your business (and it really should be in today’s business environment), Citynet can provide next-generation security for your business network…giving you extra piece of mind.
Along with many other business services, Citynet’s Managed Services Division can assist your business with any solution from your network to your desktops and applications, all at very affordable prices. Call us today to find out how we can save your business costly down time and repair bills…800.903.8906

Timothy Spradling, Sales Support, Retail Operations. Tim has spent 20 years of his adult life in customer service. He has been providing support for Citynet’s wide range of products and services for over 6 years. A life long resident of Charleston, Tim relocated to Bridgeport, West Virginia upon Citynet’s becoming an independent corporation. Tim’s first experience with computers began when he was working in a bookstore/publishing company on Macintosh (or Apple) computers, and he has been hooked on computers ever since. He considers himself the residential Macintosh expert here at Citynet. Many of our customers using Macintosh computers have gotten to know Tim on a first name basis. Everyday, he strives to provide the best in professional and courteous customer support. The best part of the job for Tim is the opportunities to learn more about computers, computer networks and the telecommunication industry.
